Creating Core Memories One School at a Time
The Dream Big Community Giveaway is one of Nate’s Next Kid Up’s most heartfelt initiatives focused on bringing joy, encouragement, and unforgettable experiences to children throughout our community.
Each year, Nate personally selects schools within the community to receive a special Dream Big Giveaway experience. Many of the schools chosen are Title 1 campuses or schools facing unique challenges where students and families may need additional support and encouragement.
But this program is about more than just giving away toys.
It is about creating moments children will always remember.
A Special Experience for Every Child
During each Dream Big Community Giveaway, every student at the selected school receives the opportunity to choose a special item of their own.
Items may include:
Stuffed animals
Sports equipment
Games and activities
Toys
Creative and educational items
Special surprise gifts
One of the most meaningful parts of the event is that children are able to personally choose the item that means the most to them.
For many children, it becomes more than a gift — it becomes a memory, a moment of joy, and a reminder that they are seen, valued, and supported.
Why Nate Created this Program
Nate believes every child deserves opportunities to feel special regardless of their circumstances.
Through this initiative, he hopes to inspire children to Dream Big while showing them that their community cares about them and believes in their future.
What started as a simple idea to help children has grown into large-scale community events impacting thousands of students and families throughout the Coastal Bend and beyond.
