Texas Department of Family and Protective Services Commissioner’s Excellence Award

The award was personally presented by Governor Greg Abbott’s Texas Commissioner of the Department of Family and Protective Services, Ms. Audrey O’Neil, who traveled to Corpus Christi with her team to recognize Nate’s mission and the life-changing work he leads through Nate’s Next Kid Up.

Nate is the first recipient in the Coastal Bend region and the youngest individual ever to receive this distinguished honor.
