Nate’s Next Kid up is committed to serving kids in foster care and within the community. Our Focus is to provide new and valuable resources in Sports, Education, Arts, Science, and a variety of Camps. Let’s be the change to help achieve their greatest potential in life through teamwork, leadership skills, integrity, social interaction and expanding their knowledge in arts.

Nate's Next Kid Up is thrilled to introduce the Dream Big Scholarship Program, a new initiative designed to support families in our community by covering registration fees for children interested in participating in sports or activities. This program aims to provide opportunities for foster children and other community children to explore new interests, develop skills, and build friendships.

Many families face financial barriers when it comes to enrolling their children in extracurricular activities. These activities are not only a source of fun and enjoyment but also play a crucial role in a child's development, teaching important life skills such as teamwork, discipline, and perseverance. By removing the financial burden, the Dream Big Scholarship Program ensures that every child has the chance to pursue their passions and start something new.

• Eligibility: The scholarship is available to foster children and children from families in need within our community.
• Coverage: The scholarship will cover the full registration fee for one sport or activity per child.
• Application Process: Interested families can apply for the scholarship by filling out an application form available on our website. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis, and recipients will be notified promptly.
• Activities Supported: The program supports a wide range of activities, including team sports, individual sports, arts, music, and other extracurricular pursuits.

*Scholarship is for all Recreational Sports, Dance, Cheer, Theater, Fishing

*Scholarships are available to qualifying families with kids in grade K-12

*Applicant must be a resident of Nueces, Kleberg, 

San Patricio, Jim Wells County

 How to Apply

1. Visit Our Website: Go to http://www.natesnextkidup.org and navigate to the Dream Big Scholarship Program section.
2. Fill Out the Application Form: Provide necessary details about the child and the desired sport or activity, along with any supporting information required.
3. Submit the Application: Applications can be submitted online or sent via mail to our office address.
4. Await Confirmation: Our team will review the application and contact the family with the results.
